forms collide: city / ocean

Containing approximately 30 beachfront residences, this structure is designed around the views, prevailing winds, and ever-present forces located along the south Florida shoreline.  The building has a responsibility to the city and to the ocean.  The result is a collision of forms, revealing exposed steel and glass transparency along the eastern exposure, and a zinc clad skin of curved and angled planes along the western edge creating a dynamic presence for the city street.
