the concept....
creating shifting forms and planes that break down scale, open up views, and allow cohesive indoor/outdoor living spaces. creating a rhythm and texture on the facades that during the day comes to life with the movement of the southern sunlight, and in the evening creates dynamic patterns of light and reflections along the waterfront. interlocking forms that create an individual dwelling scale within an overall fabric.
thoughts....
at the heart of the concept is the central core design with 4 corner residences that all contain water views, as well as internal amenity gardens and features.
the amenity level contains a central gallery that runs north and south through the buildings that connects all of the garden areas. the villas at this level each contain private gardens and plunge pools, adjacent to various zen garden experiences, as well as the possibility of a lap style pool with wide water views.
the architecture contains subtle shifts in the floor plans which allows variation in the units types, as well as portraying a dynamic rhythm and pattern along the facades. the subtle shifts create varying degrees of shade and shadow along the street and waterfront, breaking the overall scale of the forms down..
the site....

creating an active waterfront and street side environment.
